- Matthew J. Zelinski, 50, Oshkosh, died Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1957, in Neenah, the son of William and Patricia Kofler Zelinski. Matt was a member of St. Raphaels Catholic Church and was employed by the Morgan Co. for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the Packers.
He is survived by two daughters: Abigail and Amanda Zelinski, both of Oshkosh; his parents: Bill and Pat Zelinski, Neenah; a brother, Tom (Jenni) Zelinski, Menasha; seven sisters: Peg (Pete) Zagzebski, New London; Kay (Scott) Rassmusen, West Bend; Jenny (Mark) Mankiewicz, Neenah; Sue (Ted) Miller, Neenah; Tricia (Doug) Rogers, West Bend; Amy (Joe) Gruse, Neenah and Trudy (John) Long, Neenah. He is further survived by his ex-wife, Sherry Ratchman, Oshkosh and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Raphaels Catholic Church, 830 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh, with the Rev Douglas Le Captain officiating. Burial will be in St. Margaret Mary Cemetery in Neenah. Family and friends may call at the Fiss and Bills, Poklasny Funeral Home Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m. where there will be a 6:30 p.m. prayer service and also at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
