Lenora D. Peters, age 73, of Waupaca, formerly of the Town of Royalton, passed away Monday evening October 15, 2007, at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca. She was born on August 2, 1934, daughter of the late Fred and Lorrina (Prill) Schulke. On February 7, 1969, she married Louis Peters in Waupaca. They lived in the Town of Royalton, Waupaca County, until moving to Waupaca in 2000. She was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega since 1984. She had been employed at the Hortonville Canning Factory and later at Hillshire Farms in New London. Lenora enjoyed flower gardening, baking and sewing.
She is survived by her husband: Louis; her sons: Kevin Peters and friend Kara, Oshkosh; Jeffrey (Lisa) Peters, Boston, MA; Dennis Krueger and friend Jean, Manawa; two grandchildren: Weston and Nicholas; a brother: Harlan (Irene) Schulke, Almond; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Schulke, Waupaca; Dorothy Schulke, New London; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers: Edwin and Harvey.
The Christian Funeral for Lenora will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Robbert and Rev. Dennis Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home on Thursday, October 18, 2007, from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
