- Dennis K. Nowland, of Weyauwega, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the age of 46. Dennis was born on August 25, 1960, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Thomas and and the late Vione (Griswold) Nowland. He married Nancy (Fox) Hanson on April 8, 1994, and shared their first home in Heffron, Wisconsin. In 2000, they settled their family in Weyauwega, Wisconsin. Dennis enjoyed his job at Wood Excavating, traveling, spending time with family and friends, he was always ready to take on new challenges. Dennis spent much of his spare time recently remodeling his home along with his wife and children. He loved to make the most out of life and would let nothing hold him back. He would always help anyone at anytime.
Dennis will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Nancy; sons: Damian (Nicole) Nowland, Manawa; Max Nowland, Weyauwega; stepsons: Ryan (Sandy) Hanson, Poy Sippi; Chris Hanson, Weyauwega; grandchildren: Kyle, Levi, Garrison, Reese, Kansas and Phoebe; father, Thomas Nowland, Wild Rose; brothers: Tom (Anna) Nowland, Norfolk, VA; Jim Nowland, Don (Kathy) Nowland, Paul (Jenny) Nowland, all of Wild Rose; and Mark (Kim) Nowland of Waupaca; a sister, Debra Stevens (Mike), Wild Rose. Many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Dennis is now at peace with his mother, Vione, whom he loved dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of service.
