- OSHKOSH Former agricultural agent dies
Owens P. Cuff, 85, Rt. 2, Hortonville, a former Winnebago County agricultural agent, died Wednesday morning at Central Michigan Community Hospital. Mt. Pleasant, Mich., following a short illness. Cuff served as agricultural agent from 1929 to 1937. Prior to that position he served as field editor for the Wisconsin Agriculturist, a farm paper. Born Sept. 29. 1887 in the Town of Hortonia in Outagamie County, he owned and operated several farms in that area until his retirement. He was a graduate of New London High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1912. He was a member of the Oshkosh Kiwanis Club for many years. He is survived by one daughter. Mrs. Kenneth (Margaret) Saunders, Weidman, Mich.; two brothers, Claire Cuff, Hortonville, and Arthur Cuff, Mt. Dora. Fla.; and one sister. Mrs. Joseph (Fanny) Larkins, Detroit. Mich; His wife. Gladys, who he married in 1913, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Congregational United Church of Christ. New London, with the Rev. M. K. Spaskal officiating. Burial will be in the Hortonville Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchardt-Moder Funeral Home. New London, after 2 p.m. Friday until Saturday morning, thereafter at the church.

Gladys, whom he married in 1913 preceded him in death also one son two sisters and one brother .Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am at the First Congregation United Church of Christ 110 E Hancock St New London with burial in the Hortonville Union Ceme- tery.
