- Edward F. "Ed" Keller, 82, Norwich, CT, formerly of Green Bay passed away on April 17, 2011. Ed was born February 18, 1929, in Brillion, WI, to the late Nicholas Edward and Anna Catherine (Wimmer) Keller. He served his country during the Korean War as a member of the US Army. On June 2, 1962, he married the former Mary Ann Spatchek in Reedsville, WI, and she preceded him in death on August 4, 1992. After Mary Ann's death he moved to Madison, WI, for 7 years to be closer to family. After that he relocated to Norwich, CT. He was employed with the US Postal Service until his retirement. Ed enjoyed gardening. He also enjoyed family camping trips, bowling and word puzzles. More recently he enjoyed Bingo.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Peter (Sarah) Keller, Norwich, CT, and their daughter Bridget, Delia (Mike) Markham, Oregon, WI, and their children Elizabeth and Tyler, Charles (Kim Halverson) Keller, Richmond Hill, GA, and their children Delaney and Haley, Matthew Keller, Schaumburg, IL, and William (Karyn) Keller Earlyville, VA, one sister Lyn Lodes, brother-in-law Edwin Peterman and sister-in-law, Dorla Keller as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Ann as well as eight brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street, on SATURDAY, April 23, 2011, from 2-5 p.m. Parish Prayer Service at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Military Honors at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on MONDAY from 9-10:30 a.m. at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams Street. Mass of Christian Burial at the church on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Ken De Groot, O.Praem officiating. Entombment at Allouez Catholic Chapel and Mausoleum.
