  Gerald H. Behl, age 85, of Appleton, died on Friday, April 29, 2011, at his home. Jerry was born on March 25, 1926, in Appleton to the late Herman and Irene (Kreutzer) Behl. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Jerry was employed at the Singer Company for many years and more recently at Job Service. He will be remembered for his love of flowers and animals. Jerry is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers: Roger, Phillip and Donald. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011, at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
