- Laurie A. Baurain, age 51, Green Bay, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. She was born on January 4, 1960, to the late David and Patricia Champeau of Neenah.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Collar, Madison; her sons, Adam Baurain, Menasha, and Ryan Baurain, Neenah, grandaughter, Cavalina Koburn, Madison; sister, Michelle Champeau, Appleton; brother Bart Champeau, Florida; nephews Brad Malczewski, Winneconne; Austin Malczewski, Appleton; Nathan Baurain, Stockbridge; nieces Karissa Thompson, Neenah; Rebecca Thompson, Menasha; Nikki Rzepka, Lakewood. Laurie is further survived by the father of her children and close friend, Rick Baurain. She remained very special and dearly loved by her many former in-laws, including Stella and Roger Wood, Appleton. Laurie's dearest treasure was her children. She cherished her time with them.
Laurie most recently worked as a waitress at Atlanta Bread Co. in Green Bay. Her regular customers were drawn to her beautiful smile and friendliness. She will be sorely missed. All who loved her take great comfort in the fact that she is with her lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Burial at Riverside Cemetary, Appleton, on Friday, May 6th at 1 p.m. Visitation held after at children's residence. Call 920-722-1042 for details.
