- Robert Allan "Asch" Aschenbrenner, age 74, of Black Creek, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born on April 9, 1937, son of the late Earl and Violette (Canter) Aschenbrenner. On October 2, 1982, he was united in marriage to Judy Marquardt, in Appleton. Asch worked for Miller Electric (ITW) for over 30 years until his retirement in 1996. He was also an Air Force Veteran. Asch enjoyed pitching softball for 35 years, golfing, bowling, and was a Packers, Brewers, and Badgers fan.
He was survived by his wife Judy, and his children: Greg Aschenbrenner, Kurt (Dawn) Aschenbrenner; four grandchildren: Jeremy (Beth), Matthew, Tyler, Adam (Wendy); a great-granddaughter Megan and a great-grandson Parker; stepchildren: Todd Spoehr (special friend Diane), Tammy (Scot) Sladky, Karie (Doug) Van Handel, Kim (Leroy) Schroeder; stepgrandchildren: Nichole (Brad) Peeters, Joshua Spoehr (special friend Brooke), Natasha Gersmehl, Karra Gershmehl (fiance Matt), Amber Yandre, Connor Sladky, Carl Schroeder, Holly Schroeder, Cole Sladky; a brother Terry Aschenbrenner, and a sister Susan (Ed) Michalik; and his two faithful dogs Marco and Meka.
He was preceded in death by a brother Bruce and a sister Joanne.
