  Bongers, Edward H., "Ed" Litt le ChuteAge 91, died Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Franciscan Care and Rehabilitati on Center, Appleton. He was born June 7, 1911 in Little Chute son of Mart in and Nettie (Van Domelen) Bongers. Ed married Lavern Kons June 8, 194 7. Mr. Bongers was a lifelong member of Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Chu rch, Little Chute and the North American Hunting Club. Ed was also a memb er of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.Ed is survived by his wife, Lavern, Little Chute; four children: Marian (R on) Revoir, Schofield; Jerry (Dar) Bongers, Appleton; Don (Nan) Bonger s, De Pere; Joan (Tom) Spice, New London; 13 grandchildren: Charlene, Ber t, Vickie and Matthew (Gelicia) Bongers, Dan and Mark Revoir; Tim (Lanett e) and Brenda Van Cuick; Cindy (Steve) Swiderski; Debbie (Jim) Lewitzke; C heri Hunter, Lisa (Brian) Meyer, Diane (Brad) Friis; 24 great-grandchildre n: Faith, Shane, Jeni, Stephanie, Ryan Revoir; Brandon, Mark Jr., Michae l, Evan, Rebecca, Daniel, Logan, Jennifer, Tyler West, Ashley, Ryan Van Cu ick, Kyle, Joshua, Dawson, Tyler Friis, Nicole, Gabrielle, Desiree and Ter rah; a great-great-grandchild, Austin Swiderski; three brothers: Clarenc e, Ray (Theresa) and Bob Bongers; a sister, Verona Olsen; two sisters-in-l aw: Connie Ballard and Rita Fischer; two brothers-in-law: Ray (Alice) a nd Mike (Sally) Kons; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and fri ends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard (Mari e) Bongers; two sisters: Ethel (Harry) Van Nuland and Rose (Bud) Apit z; a sister-in-law, Emily (Paul) Ballard and four brothers-in-law: Bud Bal lard, Al Fischer, Bud (Fran) and Art Kons.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at St. John Nepo mucene Church with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment wi ll be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. Friends may call at the Verkuilen F uneral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 10 a.m. Wednes day until the time of the mass. Ed's family wishes to thank Dr. Jack Mey er and Franciscan Care and staff for their loving care and concern. In li eu of flowers a memorial has been established.
