  Balwierczak, Elaine H. Elaine H. Balwierczak, 82, Suamico, passed away at a local nursing home with her husband by her side on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009. Elaine was born in Duck Creek, on April 2, 1927, to the late Carl and Bertha (Goldschmidt) Last. She married Frank Balwierczak on Sept. 18, 1954. Elaine was an area resident all her life and enjoyed canning and cooking. She owned and operated Frankelaines in Suamico until retiring in 1977. Survivors include her husband, Frank; two daughters, Ardie (Keith) Kutska, Abrams; Lori Balwierczak and Roger Hattimer, Holcombe; grandchildren, Clayton (Brenda) Kutska and Jed Balwierczak; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Katie and Matthew Kutska; sister, Mary Hussong. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Orville and Alvin Last; brother-in-law, Leon Hussong; nephews, Brian and Bradley Hussong; niece, Cheryl Rastia. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Howard-Suamico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane.
