- Roberta M. Phillips, 76, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, October 21, 2011.
She was born on May 1, 1935, in Embarrass, Wis., to the late Norman and Marybelle (Carpenter) Winterfeldt. Roberta married Harold Phillips on October 9, 1954, in Embarrass. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Roberta enjoyed the time spent with her family at the cottage in Goodman, was an avid hunter and fisher, enjoyed reading and camping, and especially the time spent with her grandchildren. She was employed at Eggers Industries for many years. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Harold; her children, Barry (Cindy) Phillips, Neenah; Nick (Karen) Phillips, Readfield, Wis.; Holly (Jim) Fisher, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Wendy (Duane) Shukoski, Neenah; her grandchildren, Eric Phillips, Nicole (Luke) Scoles, Kristine Phillips (fiancé Justin Meeleus); Amber Krueger; Amanda Fisher; Gavin Fisher; Ryan (Pam) Shukoski and Marc Shukoski.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at FAITH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1025 Tullar Road, Neenah, with the Rev. Mary Council-Austin officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name. Wichmann Funeral Home
