Hermsen, Hattie (nee Vandenberg)Age 98, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Rennes Health Care Cen ter. Hattie was born on May 3, 1904, in Little Chute to the late Albert a nd Nellie (Hurkman) Vandenberg. On June 14, 1941, she was united in marria ge to Herbert Hermsen at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. With h er husband, they owned and operated Northside Hardware in Appleton until t heir retirement. Hattie was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, L adies of St. Thomas More and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Survivors inclu de her sister, Elva (Herbert) Dorn, Appleton, brother and sister-in-law Wi lbert and Lila (Radtke) Vandenberg, Appleton, numerous nieces, nephews a nd other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband ( 1991), two sisters, Mabel Bongers and Lorraine McInnis, and three brother s, Joseph, Norbert and Arnold. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a. m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 18 25 North McDonald Street, Appleton, with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Inte rment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call direct ly at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. T he family would like to thank Fr.
