- Mulroy, Marcella L. 137 N. Cherry St. Hortonville Age 80, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2002 at her residence. She was born on June 8, 1921 in West Bloomfield, Wisconsin; the daughter of Walter and Alvina (Koehler) Baehman. Marcella was a graduate of Hortonville High School, Class of 1939 and went on to attend cosmetology school. She owned and operated the Nu-Style Beauty Salon in the Hortonville area for 40 years until her retirement in 1983. On March 8, 1942 she was united in marriage to Maurice R. Mulroy. Her hobbies were gardening and fishing and she especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marcella was a longstanding and faithful member of Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church in Hortonville.
She is survived by two daughters: Marilyn (David) Grossman, Medina; and Laurie (Doug) McGallian, Burleson, Texas; three sons: Roger (Judy) Mulroy, Charles (Marlene) Mulroy, and Barry (Kathy) Mulroy, all of Hortonville; 15 grandchildren: Tricia (Todd) Bosin, Jessica Mulroy, Jon and Amanda Mulroy, Pamela, Joelle and Brian Mulroy, Ryan (Trisha) Grossman, Kristin (Jacob) Ashauer, Amanda (Eric) Peters, Jason, Tara and Matthew Mulroy, Amy Mevis, and Erik McGallian; four great-grandchildren: Christian, Abagail, Jacob, and Logan; sisters-in-law: Nina Baehman, Francis Mulroy, and Roberta Mulroy. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Maurice on October 22, 1996, a son Randy, and two brothers: Arlyn Baehman and Willard Baehman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2002 at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Matthew Duin officiating. Interment will be in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery in Hortonville. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Donations will be made to the Theda Care Hospice Program by the family of Marcella. The Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville is assisting the family.
