- Dorothy J. Riemer age 83 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, October 11, 2012 at the Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clintonville with her family at her side.
Dorothy was born on June 26, 1929 in the Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie (Gauerke) Polzin. She had attended and graduated from Clintonville High School. Dorothy later met Ervin Riemer, who worked as a hired hand on the Polzin family farm in the Township of Bear Creek. They were united in marriage on September 17, 1949 at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Together the couple continued to farm the Polzin family farm until retirement in 1991 when they moved to Clintonville. Ervin preceded his wife in death on September 7, 2003. Dorothy was a member of the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. Her hobbies included watching birds, yard work, growing flowers, gardening and watching the Milwaukee Brewers. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in their sports activities.

Her brother: Ralland (Pat) Polzin, Clintonville, Her sister-in-law: Ione Stueck, Clintonville, Numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ervin her brothers-in-law, Frank Latza, James Stueck & Marvin Kortbein.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call from 5 until 7 P.M. Monday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville and after 10 A.M. Tuesday at the church until the time of the service.
