- Florence E. Conard, 92, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007. Florence was born Jan. 11, 1915, in De Pere, the daughter of the late Henry and Antoinette (Wagonmaker) DeValk. She married Norman Conard, June 19, 1934 and he preceded her in death May 8, 1996. Florence was a member of St. Bernard Parish and the altar society. She loved golfing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Norman (Alice) Conard, De Pere; one daughter, Sharon Conard, Green Bay; five grandchildren, Steve (Betty Ann) Conard, Montana; Annette (Tom) Luedtke, Nebraska; Kevin Conard, Minnesota; Bruce Conard, Wisconsin; Jon (Elizabeth) Conard, Georgia; five great-grandchildren, Alexander Luedtke, Madalyn Luedtke, Jacquelyn Luedtke, Jocelyn Luedtke, Jonathan Conard; one brother, Edward DeValk, Milwaukee; two sisters, Lillian DeValk, Milwaukee; and Margaret DeValk, Green Bay; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Florence was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 E. Mason St. on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev.
