  Alvin F. Sanders, 79, Kimberly, passed away, surrounded by family, on Wedn esday, Oct. 24, 2001, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. Alvin was born to the la te Stephen and Anna (Koehne) Sanders on Oct. 24, 1922, in Little Chut e. On Aug. 16, 1952, he married Ruth Streator at Holy Cross Catholic Churc h, Kaukauna. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage before she preceded h im in death on Sept. 1, 1995. Alvin enjoyed spending time with his famil y, especially his grandchildren. He retired in 1984 after 38 years of work ing at Midtec Paper Company, Kimberly.Alvin is survived by six children, Tom Sanders, Darboy; John (Sindi) Sande rs, Little Suamico; Joe (Ann) Sanders, Pasadena, Calif.; JoAnne (Terry) Ka minski, Kimberly; Randy (Kathi) Sanders, Little Chute; Rick (Mary) Sander s, Appleton; 16 grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Jarred, Andrew, Timmy, Bets y, Nathan, Brian, Amanda, Bryce and Kayce Sanders, Max, Katy and Kyle Kami nski, Chris and Kayla Verbeten; two brothers, Ralph (Joyce) Sanders and Ro bert (Bonnie) Sanders; three sisters, Rita (Leo) Hett, Helen Weigman and P eggy DeCoster; and one brother-in-law, Jim (Carol) Streator.Alvin was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Julie Ann Sanders; thr ee brothers, Earl, Frank and Jim; and three sisters, Dorothy, Viola and Ma rie.The funeral liturgy will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at ST. PAUL C ATHOLIC CHURCH, Combined Locks, with Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Fr iends may call at the church from 4 p.m. until the time of Service. Buri al will be at St. Paul Cemetery.The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. William Gustafso n, nurses and staff at the Kaukauna Clinic; Dr. Nicole Brady, nurses and s taff at Appleton Medical Center; nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth Hospit al Sub-acute Care Unit; and nurses and staff at St. Paul Home.
