  Private Theodore Feller When Mrs. Goetzman received her brother's letter dated June 2, some people were of the opinion that he had been wounded May 28 but had not died until after having written this letter. However, the telegram from Washington reported Private Theodore Feller, infantry died May 28 from wounds received in action. The Red Cross has determined that the Kaukauna soldier's reported death was in error.

  Ted Feller, who was reported several weeks ago as having been killed in action last May while fighting in France was alive and well, reached his sisters, Miss Margaret Feller and Mrs. Goetzman last Saturday through a telegram from the war department at Washington. The family's joy was increased Wednesday by receiving a cablegram from France from Ted himself saying "was only slightly wounded, am leaving the hospital and ready for active service."

  See Image Ted Feller, 77, formerly of 1817 12th St., Two Rivers, died Wednesday evening at Family Herita ge Home, where he had resided the past two years. Funeral services wi ll be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel and 11 a .m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. John Neuser will off iciate with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Mr. Feller was bo rn March 4, 1899 at Kaukauna, the son of the late John and Theresa Romenes ko Feller. He was a World War 1 veteran serving overseas. He married Angel ine Deprey Sept 21, 1927 at Two Rivers. By trade he was a self employed pa inter and decorator and a member of the VFW. Survivors include his wife, t wo sisters, Mrs. Andrew O'Connell of DePere and Mrs. Mayme Yingling of Kau kauna. Two brothers, Harold and Henry and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Goetzman a nd Mrs. Margaret Wilpolt, preceded him in death. Friends may call at De ja and Martin Funeral Chapels from 5 to 9 o'clock this Thursday evening, w here a memorial service will be held at 7 o'clock.
