  See Image Jacob P. Michels, age 79, reside nt of Stanley, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening. Funeral services a re set for Friday 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family North Catholic Church with Fat her Joseph Marx officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Frien ds may call at the Plombon Funeral home from Thursday noon until the ti me of service Friday morning. The parish vigil will be recited 8:30 p. m. Thursday at the funeral home. A complete obituary will follow. Unknown newspaper unknown date; Jacob P. Michels, age 79, resident of 115 second Avenue, Stanley, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening April 11t h. He was born in June 2nd, 1892 at Woodville Wisconsin, son of Peter and Mary Michels. He came to the town of Delmar with his parents when he was a year old, grew there, and entered the U.S. Army in 1917, serving in World War I until 1919 with the 32nd Division. On October 5th, 1919 he was united in marriage to Albina Smasal at Edson Wisconsin. After their marriage he was a cheesemaker at the Arthur dairy at Cadott and then was a cheesemaker at the Clear Creek dairy. They move to Stanley in 1933 and he has lived there since,. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and Chippewa County Barracks 2905. He is survived by one son, A. (Bud) Miche ls of Green Bay, one of brother, Leo of Holcombe, four sisters, Hilda of P alo Alto Calif., Setta, Louise and Lenora, all of Los Angeles California, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife in 1969, one daughter, Geraldine, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family North Catholic Church, Stanley with Reverend Joseph Marx officiating. Burial will be St. Mary's cemetery.
