  MRS. SUSAN S. PAULY Mrs. Susan Scheiber Pauly, 87, one of the pioneers of the city, died Sund ay night at her home at 19 Sherman pl after a 10 days' illness. She was b orn in Trier, Germany, and came to the United States in 1858, locati ng at Manitowoc Rapids. In 1863 she moved to appleton, where she made h er home continuously until her death. Mrs. Pauly is survived by one so n, N. J. Pauly, Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Peter Michaels, Mrs. Pet er A Rolfs, Miss Louise Pauly, Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Mousett e, Paris, France; Mrs. Laura Bull, richmond, Calif.; niece, Mrs Mathilde D uo Four Montall, Paris, France; twenty-eight grandchildren and thirteen gr eat grandchildren.the funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning from St. Joseph ch urch. Burial will be at St. Joseph cemetery.
