- Wildenberg, Ralph J. KimberlyAge 87, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. R alph was born in Little Chute on May 30, 1915, son of the late Walter a nd Catherine (Verkuilen) Wildenberg. Ralph was a 1933 graduate of St. Jo hn High School in Little Chute; and on June 3, 1939, he married the form er Kathryn "Kay" Mennen in Kimberly. She preceded him in death on May 2 1, 1981. Ralph was employed by the Kimberly Clark Mill in Kimberly until h is retirement in May of 1976. Ralph taught welding for many years at Apple ton Vocational School and served as a volunteer firefighter and as assista nt fire chief for the Village of Kimberly. During his lifetime, Ralph w as an avid sportsman, enjoying cards, fishing, hunting, golf, and bowling.Ralph is survived by two sons: Michael (Jill) Wildenberg, Danville, Kentuc ky; David (Gigi) Wildenberg, Issaquah, Washington; three daughters: Mary K ay (Gilbert) Hietpas, Fond du Lac; Diane (Robert) Lorenz, Appleton; Kar en (J) Johnson, Maple Valley, Washington; nine grandchildren: Paul (Lis a) Wildenberg, Steven (Candy) Wildenberg, Aaron Wildenberg, Tanya (Fred) M uller, Jeffrey (Amy) Hietpas, Alan Hietpas, Gregory (Beth) Hietpas, Jam es (Jill) Van Geffen, and Russ (Bev) Van Geffen; eight great-grandchildre n: Emily and Ryan Wildenberg, Joseph and Elizabeth Wildenberg, Jeffrey a nd Cody Hietpas, McKenzie Van Geffen, and Sophie Muller; three brothers: R aymond Wildenberg, Kaukauna; Owen (Joyce) Wildenberg, Appleton; Merin (Pe g) Wildenberg, Little Chute; three sisters: Josephine Weyenberg, Kaukaun a; Mildred Langedyke, Little Chute; Virginia Smith, Menasha; four sisters- in-law: Margaret Wildenberg, Kimberly; Elva Wildenberg, Kaukauna; Patric ia Lynn, Grenada Hills, California; Marian Mennen, Kimberly; and a brother -in-law, Les Woeckner, Menasha. Ralph was preceded in death by his parent s, his wife Kathryn, a son Joseph, a great-granddaughter Taylor Muller, br others: Clarence, Arthur W., John (Myrtle), Martin (Margaret), Peter, a nd Arthur A. Wildenberg; sisters: Anne (Bill) Behling and Nelda Woeckne r; sisters-in-law, Helen Wildenberg, Evelyn (Clarence) Gehrman, Rita (Ra y) Vanevenhoven; and brothers-in-law: George Weyenberg, Sylvester Langedyk e, Gerald Smith, Don Lynn, Giles Mennen, and Joseph (Rosie Molineaux) Menn en.The funeral liturgy for Ralph will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Augu st 6, 2002 at HOLY NAME OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Aven ue in Kimberly with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment wi ll be in the parish cemetery.
