  HEINTZ - Philip Heintz. a pioneer of this city, died suddenly Sunday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock at his home, 2005 Doty street, following a. stroke of apoplexy- He had been ill for some time, never having recovered from a stroke which he sustained four years ago. Mr., Heintz was seventy years old, having been born in Hessen, Darmstadt, Germany on August 28, 1848. He came to America in 1867 and with the exception of six months which he spent in Milwaukee he has resided in Oshkosh, living in the Third Ward and conducting a barber shop on South Main Street ever since. In 1871 he married Miss Josephine Zira, who with three sons, George, Fred and Louis, all of this city, survive him. About twenty-eight years ago he retired from active business and since then he had been living quietly at his home. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence on Doty street. Rev. W. S?? ssmuth will officiate and interment will be at Riverside.
