- Elizabeth Ashe Will be Wed Today at Kaukauna AT an altar decorated with Christmas greens and lighted with cathedral candles, Miss Elizabeth Ashe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Ashe, 719 Grignon street, Kaukauna, and Charles Koon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie M. Koon Auburn, N. Y., will exchange nup- tial vows at 5 o'clock this after noon in Brokaw Memorial Metho- dist Episcopal church, Kaukauna. The double ring ceremony will be performed by the Rev. G. C. Saunderson. The bride and her father will be preceded to the altar by the two ushers, Andrew Ashe, Kaukauna, brother of the bride, and Louis Tay- lor, Appleton, the two bridesmaids, Miss Ann Winslow Russell, Appleton, and Miss Ethel Marie Helmer, Chicago, and the maid of honor. Miss Elizabeth Ann Adams, Sioux Falls. S. D. The bridegroom's brother, Archie Koon, Jr., Auburn, N.Y., will be bestman. The bride's gown of white velvet in Juliet style and her white net veil will each have a long train, and she will carry a bouquet of white roses. Egg shell taffeta will fashion the gowns of her three attendents,each of whom will wear a coronet of small white star chry- santhemums and carry a bouquet of the same flowers. Francis Proctor. Neenah, will b< organist, and Miss Helen Mueller. Appleton. will be soloist at the ceremony. Miss Mueller will sinf "Widmung." by Robert Franz. A wedding supper will be served to members of the bridal party at Hotel Kaukauna after the ceremony. Mr. Koon and his bride will make their home at 222 E. Washington street, Appleton. A graduate of Syracuse university, he is now employed as a research assistant at the Institute of Paper Chemistry. The bride is a graduate of Lawrence college and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and was employed until recently at the Institute.
