  Romenesko, Leon T. "Butch" Kau kaunaAge 87, died in Appleton on April 7, 2002 after a brief illness. He was bo rn on October 27, 1914 in Kaukauna, the son of the late Walter and Eva (Sc hmalz) Romenesko. On January 24, 1948, he married Margaret Bridget Smit h. Butch was very loving and dedicated to his family. He retired from Thil many in October, 1979. Butch is survived by his wife Margaret, four sons a nd one daughter: Terry (Catherine) Sharron, Colorado Springs, Colorado; La rry (Mary) Sharron, Kaukauna; Mary Kay (Thomas) Lutzow Appleton; Michael ( Kay) Romenesko, Kaukauna; and Patrick (Sandra) Romenesko, Kaukauna; 14 gra ndchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers: Monroe (Lenora) Romene sko Kaukauna; Orrin Romenesko Appleton; four sisters: Martha (Mrs. Robe rt Jacobs) Appleton; Germaine St. Arnold Kaukauna; Marie (Mrs. Richard Pow ers), Appleton; Frances (Mrs. Bernard Hutton), Appleton; two sisters-in-la w: Mildred (Mrs. Lloyd Romenesko), Kaukauna; and Mildred (Mrs. Mark Romene sko), Kaukauna; numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends. But ch is preceded in death by three brothers: Lloyd Romenesko, Mark Romenes ko and infant brother Michael; and one grandson, Kevin Thomas Lutzow. T he funeral liturgy will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at S T. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. Seventh St., Kaukauna, with Father Robe rt Udulutsch, O.F.M.Cap. officiating. Friends will be received at the chur ch from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cem etery. A memorial fund is being established in Butch's name. Contributio ns will go toward Alzheimer's research.
