  Joosten, Martin J., Kimberly Age 87, died Monday, November 26, 2001, at his home peacefully in his lovi ng wife's arms. He was born August 19, 1914; son of John and Anna (Van Gro ll) Joosten. He married Delia Evers, September 17, 1949, at St. John's Cat holic Church, Little Chute. Martin was an U.S. Army Veteran and served h is country in World War II. He belonged to the Jacob Coppus Post 258 Ameri can Legion, Little Chute, for 57 years. He was a lifetime member of the Ho ly Name Catholic Church, Kimberly. Martin was employed at the Appleton Pap ers Locks Mill until his retirement in 1985. Martin enjoyed fishing, worki ng with flowers in his garden, and backyard BBQ's with his family. He lov ed watching Packer games and following the Papermaker sports. Martin espec ially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and the family.Martin is survived by his wife of 52 years; four daughters: Betty (Willia m) Courchaine, Appleton; Debbie (Jim) Buza, Appleton; Peggy (Ken) Machlic a, Wrightstown; Donna (Mike) Linzmeier, Hilbert; three sons: Dan Jooste n, Appleton; Ken (Sue) Joosten, Appleton; Russell (Bonnie) Joosten, Applet on; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Joseph (Ma rian) Joosten; Richard (Beverly) Joosten; three sisters: Agnes Ebben, Minn ie Ven Rooy, Martha (Martin) Vanden Boogart; a sister-in-law, Katie (Raymo nd) Brockman; seven brothers-in-law: Henry (Adriana) Evers, Raymond Ever s, George (Celeste) Evers, Anthony (Lorraine) Evers, Sebastian (Peggy) Eve rs, Gordon (Rosie) Evers, Donald (Elaine) Evers. Also survived by many nie ces, nephews, and God children.Martin was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Benjamin Machli ca; two brothers, Joseph and Richard; two sisters, Minnie and Mary (Henr y) Gloudemans; three brothers-in-law: Hank Gloudemans, Martin Ven Rooy, a nd Arthur Ebben.Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2001, at Ho ly Name Catholic Church, Kimberly, with Father Dennis Bergsbaken officiati ng. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may ca ll at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and at church fr om 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of mass.
