  Mrs. William J. Foote, 54, Appleton, died Friday at Appleton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a Stevens Point resident from 1946 to 1957 while her husband was manager of the Wisconsin River Division of Consolidated Papers, Inc.. Later, they moved to Wisconsin Rapids, where Mr. Foote held management positions with Consolidated until 1970. The Foote home in Appleton is at 1218 Woodland Court. Mrs. Foote, the former Blanche Quincannon, was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Lake Geneva, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Quincannon. She was married June 28, 1947. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mary Gibson, South Hadley, Mass., and Anne, at home; and three sons, William, DePere, and John and Daniel, at home. A daughter preceded her in death. Mrs. Foote was a 1941 graduate of Lawrence University School of Music. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, Appleton, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton.
