- Sister Annellus Lotter, age 88, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, Manitowoc, died Saturday, May 10, 1997, at Holy Family Convent. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at Holy Family Convent Chapel. Rev. Samuel D. Jadin O.Praem. will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial at Holy Family Cemetery, Manitowoc. The former Caroline Lotter was born June 9, 1908, in Hortonville, Wis., daughter of the late William and Catherine Stoffel Lotter. She entered the Convent in 1923 and professed her vows in 1926. Sister Annellus earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Holy Family College, Manitowoc. Sister Annellus served as an elementary teacher at Oshkosh, Reedsville, St. Boniface, Manitowoc; St. Therese, Appleton; Antigo, Rhinelander, Kewaunee, Bloomington, Wis.; and Mingo Junction, Ohio. She taught high school students at Cambridge, Ohio; Lindsay, Neb.; Holy Family Academy, Manitowoc; Xavier High School, Appleton, Escanaba, Mich. She was also the Directress of Aspirants while teaching at Holy Family Academy. After retiring from the teaching profession, Sister served as an occupational therapist and was also Coordinator of the Craft Room at Holy Family Convent. From 1989-1992, she resided at St. Francis Convent, Manitowoc. She returned to Holy Family Convent in January 1993 and resided in St. Rita Health Care Facilities. She is a member of the Franciscan sisters of Christian Charity. Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; one sister and two brothers and four sisters-in-law; Mrs. Florence Kamke, Oconto Falls, Paul Lotter, Oconto Falls, Leo and Mary Lotter, Oconto Falls, Mrs. Jean Lotter, Auburn, Wash., and Mrs. Regina Lotter, Oconto Falls. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday (TONIGHT) at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at Holy Family Convent Chapel. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
