- Monica H. McParlon, nee Jochman, 81, Neenah, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Manor Care Nursing Center. She was born April 26, 1927, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Peter and Caroline (Lamm) Jochman. She married Glen McParlon and he preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1981. Monica was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha, and the Blue Army Legion of Mary Nicolet Ladies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed gardening.
Her survivors include her children, Richard (Vickie) McParlon, Menasha; and Kathleen "Kay" (Randy) Zadow, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, Erik and Elena Zadow, Mitchell, Matthew, Mason and Maxwell McParlon. Monica is further survived by three sisters, Mary Stadler, Appleton; Theresa (Harold) Block, Neenah; and Agnes (Don) Witeck, Appleton; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, with Father Paul Radetski officiating. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of mass. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Greenville.
