Paul Quinn conducted funeral mass from the Lennox Catholic Church t oday for Mrs. Mary Reichelt, 65, who resided on a farm 12 miles southwe st of Sioux Falls in Lincoln County for 42 years. The body was interr ed in the Reichelt family lot in the local Catholic cemetery. Pallbeare rs included Charles Hurley, Paul Ollerich, Will Oppoid, Van Craig, Milo Ho ffman and Dan Weiss. Three sons, Reuben, Orville and Velmar, all of Sio ux Falls, six grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers are the survivo rs."

Her husband died sev en years ago. The remains will be at the Barnett Funeral chapel until ti me for services. The funeral has been tentatively set for Thursday morni ng and will be held from the Catholic church at Lennox with burial in t he family lot in the local Catholic cemetery. The Reichelts were pioneer f armers in Lincoln county, having settled on the farm home where Mrs. Reich elt died 42 years ago. She was born in Newberg, Wis., August 18, 1873."

MARY REICHELT, Long Resident Of Community Passes Away Monday; L ived On Same Farm 42 Years, FUNERAL SERVICES TODAYThe angel of death again cast a gloom of sadness over the community this w eek by the sudden death of Mrs. Mary Reichelt which occurred at her home M onday morning after a brief illness. Mrs. Reichelt always enjoyed good hea lth until Saturday when about 5:30 o'clock in the afternoon she suffer ed a paralytic stroke. Her condition gradually became weaker and she answe red her Maker's call at 11:00 o'clock a.m. December 12, attaining the a ge of 65 years, 3 months and 24 days.Mary Scherf was born at Newburg, Wisc. on August 18, 1873 to Mr. and Mr s. Nichols Scherf. There she grew to womanhood and in 1895 came to Linco ln County to make her home with a sister, Mrs. Matt Krell, north of tow n. On Aug. 24, 1896 she was married to Albert Reichelt, and the couple to ok up their residence on a farm nine miles north of Lennox, where they liv ed continuously for 42 years.There she labored and endured many hardships of the early days. She was pr eceded in death by her husband, who passed away on December 27, 1931. Mr s. Reichelt was a kind and loving wife and mother, and a true friend who w as held in high esteem by al who knew her. She was a firm beleiver in t he Catholic faith and was a member of the Catholic church in Tea for ma ny years.Deceased is survived by three sons, Reuben, Orville and Velmar; also fo ur sisters, Mrs. Henry Albinger, Mrs. Gertie Bach, Mrs. Adam Birther, a ll living in Wisconsin, and Mrs. Matt Krell north of town; two brothers, N ick and Will Scherf, residing in Wisconsin, and six grandchildren. Funer al services will be conducted this (Thursday) morning in the local Cathol ic church, and burial is to be made in the Catholic Cemetery in Sioux Fall s. Condolence is extended the bereaved in their hour of sorrow.
