- Vanderloop, Gloria Jane Greenleaf' Formerly of Hollandtown, Age 83, joined her son William "Billy" and daughter Mary Carla in heaven on Friday, September 26, 2014 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. She was born on April 12, 1931 in the Town of Holland, daughter of the late William and Rosella (Arts) Brochtrup. On January 3, 1951, she was united in marriage to Linus W. Vanderloop at St. Francis Church in Hollandtown by Gloria's brother, Fr. Eugene Brochtrup. Together they celebrated 63 years of marriage. Gloria loved to bake, make homemade candies, canning, playing cards, needlework, swimming, and being together with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Linus; her children: Gerald (Lynn Blackwell) Vanderloop, Debra Kay (Steven) Kessler, Cynthia Marie (David) Luedtke, and Andrew (the late Sandra) Vanderloop; eleven grandchildren: Jeremy (Rebecca) Vanderloop, Anna (Anthony) Warpinski, George Vanderloop, Sarah Kessler (Jacob Laub), Richard Kessler, Matthew Luedtke, Hannah Luedtke, Jacob (Bryttany Biesemeier) Vanderloop, Seth Vanderloop, Caleb Vanderloop,and Ian Vanderloop; six great-grandchildren: Helen, Katherine, Madeline, Elijah, Linus, and Brentyn. She is further survived by a sister, Sr. Anne Brochtrup; a brother, Carlos Brochtrup; a sister-in-law, Isabelle Brochtrup, and in-laws: Pat Vanderloop, Daniel (Toni) Vanderloop, Carol VanZeeland, Mary Anne (Cletus) Feldkamp, Paul (Wilma) Vanderloop. and Shirley Vanderloop. Preceding her in death were her parents, a son Billy, a daughter Mary Carla, a daughter-in-law, Sandra Ann Vanderloop, her in-laws: Richard and Leona Vanderloop, her step-father, Mike Flynn, two brothers: Fr. Eugene Brochtrup and Roland Brochtrup, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Leo (Gladys) Haen, Leon Vanderloop, John VanZeeland, Allen Vanderloop, Grace (Hugo) Vandeyacht, and Linda Vanderloop.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Gloria will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Francis Church, County CE, Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors and Fr. Willard Van De Loo concelebrating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive in Kaukauna on Monday (TODAY) from 4-7 PM where a parish prayer service will conclude the evening and again on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Gloria's name is being established.
