He was born November 12, 1929 in Wiscon sin; the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Brooks) DeJong. Corneal was an Ar my veteran and a member of the Freedom VFW and the Little Chute American L egion. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom and a memb er of the Knights of Columbus, Council #8061 in Freedom.Corneal is survived by his three daughters: Lynn DeJong, Kimberly; Lea DeJ ong, Two Rivers; and Lisa DeJong, Freedom; also a son, Neal DeJong, Kaukau na; and a granddaughter, Kimberly. He is also survived by a brother and si ster-in-law, Frank (Joyce) DeJong; and his sisters: Rose Mary (Ken) Romene sko; Betty (Don) Heitpas; and Ardene (Ed) Welhouse.Friends may call at S t. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, on Thursday, March 13, 2003 from 3 p .m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 5 p.m., with Father Dennis Ry an officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery. Military rit es to follow by the Freedom VFW. The Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymo ur is assisting the family
