- Hietpas, Donald H., Former ly of Kaukauna, Eagle RiverAge 73, died Thursday May 29, 2003. Don was born on October 3, 1929 to t he late Bernard J. and Mathilda (Romenesko) Hietpas in Little Chute. He ma rried the former Betty A. DeJong on August 19, 1953 at St. Nicholas Cathol ic Church in Freedom. Don served in the U.S. Army until his honorable disc harge in 1951. He owned and operated Hietpas Motors Chrysler/Plymouth Deal ership in Kaukauna. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and cards as we ll as his retirement in the Northwoods. Don and Betty were planning and lo oking forward to their 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration in August.The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Monday June 2, 2003 at HOLY CROSS C ATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Jack Mullarky offic iating. Friends will be received on Monday at Church from 9 a.m. until t he time of service. Full Military Burial Rites will be preformed followi ng services. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. A memori al is being established in Don's name. The Boettcher Family Funeral Ho me is assisting the family. 766-2099. Many friends, relatives and c ousins will also miss him.He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jerry and Vince Hie tpas, four brothers in law, Marty Jelenc, Corneal DeJong, Red Schumann a nd Roland Geurts and one nephew, Bobby Romenesko.The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 2, 2003 at HOLY CRO SS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr.
