- Daul, Willard A., Freedom, 83, died Sunday morning, Dec. 19, 2004, at h is home with his family at his side. He was born June 28, 1921, to the la te William and Adeline (Fox) Daul in the Town of Freedom, where he was a r esident all of his life. Willard married Grace M. Vanden Heuvel, May 29, 1 941, at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. He served with the U. S. A rmy during WW II in the European Theatre. Following his discharge he beg an farming on Highway 55, with his wife Grace and later he was employ ed by his brother, J. N. Daul Construction Company, until his retiremen t. Following his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and p laying cards. Willard was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and t he VFW Post 7692, both of Freedom.Survivors include his 12 children and their spouses, William and Grace Dau l, Jean and Orinie Peterson, Linda and Dan Vosters, Betty and Mike Mose r, Vicky and Hank Calmes, Patti and Mike Romenesko, Geri and Dave Verkuile n, Larry and Mary Daul, Karen and Bob Garvey, Diane and Scott Zwiers, Co ry and Mike Van Hoof, Lisa and Jeff Ludwig, all of Freedom; 46 grandchildr en; 60 great grandchildren; two brothers, and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Lo rraine Daul, Little Chute; Jerry and Jean Daul, Freedom; two sisters and b rothers-in-law, Helen and Clyde Thomas, De Pere; Lil and Wilbur Merkley, M enasha; two brothers-in-law, George (Jan) Vanden Heuvel, Little Chute; J im (Doris) Vanden Heuvel, Kaukauna; three sisters-in-law, Viola Toonen, Ap pleton; Dorothy (Ron) Lemke, Little Chute; Bernice (Howie) Baumgart, Apple ton.He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace M. Daul, March 25, 1999; his p arents, his In-laws, Martin and Minnie Vanden Heuvel; a brother, Joe Dau l; a sister-in-law, Alice Daul; three brothers-in-law, Rich Vanden Heuve l, Jerry Vanden Heuvel, Tom Toonen; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Vanden Heu vel, Sharon Vanden Heuvel and a son-in-law, Wayne Conrad.The funeral liturgy for Willard will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday , Dec. 21, 2 004, at ST NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, N4088 County Trunk E, Freedom, with F ather Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Fr iends may call at the church on Tuesday, from 11 am, until the time of t he mass.
