- Connie Hardy 300 E. 19th St. Kaukauna Age 68, died Thursday, August 24, 2000 at her home with her family by her side. She was born January 24, 1932 in Freedom, daughter of the late Henry and Kathleen (Weyenberg)Schommer. On May 21, 1949 Connie married Tom Hardy, he preceded her in death on May 31, 1997. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Connie loved dancing and was an avid Packer fan. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy (Paul) Milquet, Crivitz; and Lori (Brian) Mattison, Kaukauna; three sons and daughters-in-law: Randy (Kim), Hilbert; Steve (Brenda), Darboy; Jerry (Michelle), Crivitz; 10 grandchildren: Jesse and Tyler Milquet, Nicole and Rachelle Mattison, Trisha Hardy, Jeremy and Jordan Hardy; five sisters and two brothers-in-law: Alvina Schommer, Kaukauna; Vivian Tuyls, Combined Locks; Mary Allgeyer and special friend, George Peebles, Kaukauna; Lois (Bob) Schmidt, Combined Locks; Kay (Jerry) Sawlsville, Kaukauna; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons: Danny Thomas and Danny Joseph; three brothers: Julian, Vernon, and Henry Jr.; four brothers-in-law: Roland Tuyls, Robert Allgeyer, Frances Gordon, and "Buzzy" Boreson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Entombment in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday directly at the church until the time of services. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Appleton Medical Center and to the entire staff of Theda Care at Home (Hospice).
