  November 8, 1963 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Saturday morning at Holy Cross church for Joseph C. McCarty, 74, retired contractor who died Wednesday. Mr. McCarty was an active citizen in Kaukauna during his life, being greatly remembered for the energy he devoted to community affairs. He served as president of the Kaukauna High School Alumni Association for 14 years, was on the building committee for the construction of the new wing on the St. Paul Home for the Aged, as well as being on the original executive committee and board of the Kaukauna Community Hospital and involved in various other groups.
