- Joyce, Mrs. Emmett (Dolores Mary)Mrs. Emmett (Dolores Mary) Joyce passed away on August 30, 2002 after a lo ng illness. She was born July 5, 1925 in Little Rapids, Wis. to the late K athryn and Frank Remmel. She graduated from Nicolet High School in 1942. D olores attended Outagamie Normal School and the University of Wisconsin-St even's Point and was a teacher for five years. She married Emmett Joy ce on June 24, 1948 at St. Joseph's church in West De Pere in a ceremony p erformed by Abbot Pennings. They recently celebrated their 54th wedding an niversary.Dolores is survived by her husband and ten children. Dennis (Jane) of Mequ on Wis.; Steven (Mary) of Mansfield, Ohio; Kathy of Spooner; Kevin (Mary B eth) of Green Bay; Jeff (Diane) of Wausau; David (Sara) of Kingston Wis .; Sue of Milwaukee; Pat (fiancee Lisa) of Luxemburg; Geralyn Roherty (Mic hael) of Green Bay; and Michael of Milwaukee. Dolores was the proud grandm other of 13 grandchildren: Alexander, Erin, Ryan, Meghan, Genevieve, Kaitl yn, Kyle, Dillon, Abby, Logan, Brendan, Casey Joyce and John Roherty. S he is further survived by two sisters, Lenore Sullivan (Edward, decease d) and Marquerite Coenen; (Earl, deceased), and sisters-in-law Lillian Bax ter, Ethel Faulds, Kathleen Peters, and Helen (Bill) Ebben.Dolores was preceded in death by relatives, Les and Irene Neuman, Judd Bax ter, Norb Peters, Bill Joyce Jr., Jim Faulds, and Patricia Joyce.Dolores was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown, and a Chr istian Mother's Society member.Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. 10th St. De Pere, Sunday, Sep tember 1, 2002 from 4 to 8 pm. Parish wake service will be held at 7 pm. V isitation will continue Monday, September 2, 2002 at St. Paul Catholic Chu rch, Wrightstown from 9:30 am until time of service. Mass of Christian bur ial will be celebrated Monday at the church at 10:30 am with Father Robe rt Kabat as celebrant.
