- Van Den Bloomer, Edwa rd H. "Ed"Ed Van Den Bloomer, 62, Kaukauna, passed away April 1, 2006, surround ed by his family from injuries sustained in a fall. He was born May 30, 19 43, in Kaukauna, son of the late Albert and Josephine (Skenandore) Van D en Bloomer. Edward married Mary Buchberger on Feb. 11, 1966, in Marinett e. Ed enjoyed playing pool, bowling, fishing, painting, going for rides a nd going out to eat. He loved feeding and watching the birds and squirrel s. Ed enjoyed helping his son with his landscaping business. His pride a nd joy was his wife, family, children and grandchildren. He will be rememb ered by all who knew him as a very caring person in helping the elderly a nd neighbors.He will be sadly missed by his wife of forty years, Mary Van Den Bloome r; children: Scott (Sheila), Tammy, Heidi (Don) and Luke (Jodi) Van Den Bl oomer and Kathy (Don) Crocker; eighteen grandchildren: Nicholas, Joshti n, Trustyn, Camilyn, Shayann, Chrissy, Toree, Chase, Hayden, Shauna, Edwar d, Brandi, Kendra, Jessica, McKenzie, Austin, Mason and Rylee; sisters: Ve rna Diedrich and Carol (Bob) Chosa; brothers: Harvey (Kareen), Kirby (Marg aret), Ray (Bonita) and Barney (Jackie) Van Den Bloomer; father-in-law, Vi ncent Buchberger; sister-in-law, Ann (Mike) Knott and brother-in-law, Ma rk Buchberger. He is further survived by a friend Sue Hammon, nieces, neph ews, his dog "Junior," cat "Sassy" and many caring friends.Ed was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Shannon, sisters: Luce il Vandenberg and Josey Fox; brothers: Herman, Elmer and Leo Van Den Bloom er, three sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law and a very special friend M arion Lemke.The funeral liturgy for Ed will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2 006, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Fr. M artin Fox officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. F riends may call at the CHURCH on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of m ass.
