- Flanigan, Minnie C., Winnecon ne, Wis.Minnie C. Flanigan, age 91, of Winneconne, went to be with her Lord and Sa vior and beloved husband when she died with her family by her side on Frid ay, Jan. 16, 2004 at the Omro Care Center. She was born Feb. 12, 1912 in t he Town of Woodville, Wis. to the late John and Anna (Conrady) Gerrit s. In her early years, Minnie was employed with Wisconsin Wire Works in Me nasha. She married Archie Flanigan on Oct. 23, 1943 at St. Mary's Cathol ic Church in Menasha. Minnie and Archie made their home and farmed in t he Town of Poygan until they retired from farming in 1969. Archie preced ed her in death on Dec. 19, 1983. In 1998, Minnie moved into the Villa ge of Winneconne. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winnecon ne and the St. Thomas Christian Mothers.Minnie is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Theresa Flani gan, of Green Bay; one daughter, Kathleen Noffke, of Winneconne; five gran dchildren, Brian and Holly Flanigan, Brenda and James Corbett, Lori and Ja mie Hewitt; Jeff and Drena Noffke, David and Karen Noffke; five great-gran dchildren, Katie Flanigan, Emma and Gracie Corbett, and Allyson and Jessi ca Hewitt; one sister, Mary Tennessen, of Kaukauna; and many nieces and ne phews.Along with her parents and husband, Minnie was preceded in death by four b rothers, Albert, Ambrose, Frank, and Lawrence Gerrits; and two sisters, Re gina Vercauteren and Nellie Lautenschlager.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. at S t. Mary Catholic Church, Winneconne, with Rev. Leroy Smet officiating. Bur ial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery in the Town of Poygan.
