- Lucille A. Weyenberg, age 67, of Kimberly, passed away at her home on Tues day, November 29, 2005, following a courageous battle with multiple illnes ses. Lucille was born in rural Kaukauna on November 14, 1938, daught er of the late Christian and Lena (Bies) Gerig. On January 21, 1958, she m arried Daniel Weyenberg at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kaukauna; he surv ives.She treasured each day she was given, and enjoyed time spent at the cotta ge on Berry Lake as well as spending time with her family and friends. Eve ryone will remember Lucy as an awesome cook, and a dedicated and loving st ay-at-home mother to her children. Over the years, she held several part-t ime jobs, but dearest to her heart were the years she spent at West Side E lementary School where she was known as "Grandma" to many through the seve nteen years she worked as a noon hour supervisor. Lucy was the glue that h eld the family together, and her love, laughter, and generosity will be gr eatly missed.Lucille is survived by her husband, Daniel Weyenberg of Kimberly; three da ughters: Christine Soper of Cecil and her children Ashley, Amber, Jorda n, and Haley; Shari Weyenberg of Appleton; Wendy (Todd) Heider of Greenvil le and their sons Justin and Bradley; three sons: Bruce (Susan) Weyenbe rg of Appleton and their children Jarrod and Danielle and Alexis and Alici a; Timothy (Cheryl) Weyenberg of Seymour and their children Travis and Dan ielle; and James (Keri) Weyenberg of Milwaukee; two great-grandchildren: E lizabeth Soper and Aliyah Weyenberg; two sisters: Dorothy (Norbert) Dietz en and Dolores (Wenzel) Hoefler, both of Kaukauna; and by Dan's sister a nd brothers: Elaine (Bob) Schubring of Kaukauna; Ron (Zona) Weyenberg of K imberly; and Pat (Lorna) Weyenberg of Freedom.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Kathleen (Donald) D ietzen; nephews: Arlen Dietzen, Jerome Stoffel, and Steven Stoffel; a nie ce Ann Ridgely, and by Dan's parents Clarence and Eva (Williamson) Weyenbe rg.
The funeral liturgy for Lucille will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Decem ber 3, 2005 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly wi th Fr. David Belongea, OFM, Cap. officiating. Interment will be in the par ish cemetery.
