- Norbert A. Gossens, age 92, of Town of Menasha, passed away unexpected ly at his residence on Wednesday, March 8, 2006. He was born on August 1 3, 1913, in De Pere, son of Herman and Mary (De Cleen) Gossens. He marri ed Anthonette Schmidt on August 20, 1973. He had also been married to Ma ry Koch, and together they had eight children. Norb held various positio ns at Kimberly-Clark Research and Development for 41 years. He was an av id fisherman, he and his son, Bob, ran a charter out of Kewaunee kno wn as the "GG." He loved to hunt deer and small game. Norb pitched horsesh oe at Kemps Bar for many years, played cards, bowled, and most recently ma de wonderful covered hangers for his family and friends.He was a past board member and president of the Kimberly Recreation Associ ation (KRA) for many years. He will be dearly missed by his family and fri ends.Survivors include his wife, Toni; children: Barbara (Benotch) Gossens, h er children: Norb (Linda), Guy (Carrie); Barbara (Bob) Havel, their son, B ruce (Michelle); Janet Weiss and special friend, Harold Sippel and childre n: Jill (Rick) Meixl, Jeff (Leah) Gloudemans, Jane (Pat) Schaefer; John (S usan) Gossens, their children: Scott, Amy (Rev. Paul) Rydecki, Mary (Jame s) Block, Stephanie (Scott) Rademacher, Mark; Dave (Vicky) Gossens, the ir children: Caleb, Drew, Whitney; Tim (Sandy) Gossens, their children: Jo sh (Natalie), Andy (Alison); Gwen (Dan) Pociask, their children: Ryan (Mic helle), Sam; Don Gossens (special friend Kathy), his children: Benjamin a nd Renae. He is also survived by his step children: Bob (Jackie) Schmid t, their children: Matthew, Jesse, Nicole; Kim (Dave) Jacob, their childre n: Christopher, Michael, Jason, Cheri, Nicole, Cody, Jennifer, Stephanie a nd Ryan; 24 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Gossens; an infa nt son, Richard; grandsons: Jon Gloudemans, Gere Gossens, and Brian Have l; a son-in-law, Ray Weiss; three brothers: Ole and wife Katherine, Joe a nd wife Marie, Rene and wife Norma; three sisters: Sister Fidelis, Sist er Illumina, and Ceal Brooks and husband Frank.Funeral services for Norb will be held on Saturday, March 11, 200 6, at 11 a.m., at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah, with Rev. Richard A llen officiating. Friends may call at Westgor Funeral Home, Neenah on Frid ay, (TODAY) March 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m.; a nd again on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of servic e. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
