Little Chute Businessman Dies After Short Illness at Hospital Special to Post-Crescent Little Chute - Funeral services for Theodore De Groot, 48, one of Little Chute's leading business men, who died Sunday morning were held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. John church. Solemn requiem high mass was sung by the Rev. John J. Sprangers assisted by the Rev. Theodore Verbeten and the Rev. Father Jansen. Members of the Senior Holy Name society and the Catholic order of Foresters attended the funeral in a body. Bearers: John S. Wynboom, John G. Hammen, Ralph E. Lowell, A. P. Rock, George Hermen and Joseph W. Verstegen. The burial took place in the Catholic cemetery. The death of Theodore De Groot, came after three day's llness. He was born August, 18, 1882, at Little Chute, the son of John and Hannah De Groot. In June, 1905, he was married to Ella Hartjes. Besides his widow and children survivors are Isabelle, John, Delphina, Joseph, Barbara, his moher, Mrs. Hanna Kilsdonk, four brohers and four sisters, Peter Kilsdonk, Mrs. Henry Lucassen and Mrs. Anna Hammen, Little Chute; Mrs. Richard Wurdinger, Kaukauna; Martin and Bernard Kilsdonk, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Theodore Wydeven, Kimberly; Frank De Groot, Niagara Falls, N. Y.
