- Everts, Leila M. WaupacaFormerly of New London, age 81, died Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Betha ny Home in Waupaca. She was born on May 13, 1921 in New London, daught er of the late Otto and Lorena (Suprise) Krause. On November 29, 1947 s he married Gilbert Everts in Lebanon. He preceded her in death in 1999. S he was a resident of New London most of her life and lived with her sist er Joyce in Waupaca for the past three years. She was a member of Most Pre cious Blood Catholic Church and the Senior Sodality and worked on many fun eral dinners. Leila graduated from New London High School in 1939 and serv ed in the U.S. Army as a WAC. She is survived by her sister, Joyce McPea k, Waupaca; nieces and nephews: Cathy (Dan) Nelson, Paradise, Californi a; Jan (Larry) Lyons, Smartville, California; Shari (Matt) Erickson, Waupa ca; Cindy (Steve) Christensen, Pine River; Tom (Annette) McPeak, Waupac a; Julie (Vidar) Andersen, Waupaca; also many other nieces and nephews a nd great- nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: David (B ernadine) Everts, New London; Richard (Inez) Everts, New London; Patric ia (Daniel) Glocke, New London; Helen Everts, Minneapolis; Joyce (Donal d) Huss, Kaukauna; Jean (Ernest) Omernik, New London; Deloris Everts, N ew London; Patricia Everts, Oshkosh; Adolph Bruette, New London. The Funer al Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at the Most Prec ious Blood Catholic Church in New London with the Reverend Don Everts offi ciating. Military rites will be held in the church at the conclusion of t he mass. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
