- Geraldine V. Fink "Geri" Kimberly, age 85, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Geri was born November 24, 1921, to the late Edgar and Goldie (Harwick) Kepple in Antigo, WI. She graduated from Antigo High School and married Vernon Fink on July 3, 1947, and soon moved to Kaukauna. Geri was a homemaker, raising three children and also worked at Prange Way. She thoroughly enjoyed music, gave accordion lessons and was active with the choirs at the Thompson Community Center. Geri was a longtime member at Bethany Lutheran Church and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by two daughters: Bonnie (Bernard) Van Zeeland) and Wendy (John) Cappaert; eight grandchildren: Greg (Kristen) Van Zeeland, Brad Van Zeeland, Lori (Ryan) Swick, Kara (Chris) Nimis, Craig (Jenny) Cappaert, Carri (Randy) Mallery, Christine (Alex) Emmer and Daniel Ebben and seven great-grandchildren: Kayla, Jason, Jacob, Hannah, Rachel, Tyler and Kylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vernon, her son, Bill, a sister, Joyce (Paul) Richards and a sister-in-law, Evelyn (Rudy) Wield.
Geri's funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2007, at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 124 10th Street, Kaukauna, with Rev. Walt Steinbach officiation. Friends will be received on Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial is being established. Entombment will take place in Appleton's Highland Memorial Park. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.
