- Pynenberg, Richard P. Sr. Little Chute Age 78, died Tuesday April 8, 2003 unexpectedly at his home. He was born O ctober 4, 1924 in Little Chute son of Leonard and Mayme (Ludwig) Pynenber g. Richard married Ann Lamers January 10, 1946, and she preceded him in de ath February 6, 2001. Richard and Ann celebrated 50 years of marriage Janu ary 10, 1996 and lived in Little Chute along with Combined Locks. Mr. Pyne nberg was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks along the t he Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258 and the Veterans of Foreign Wa rs Post #10544. Richard served with the U.S. Army during WWII from 19 42 to 1945. He was employed at Appleton Papers, Combined Locks for 29 yea rs along with selling cars for Coffey Motors, Kaukauna.
Richard is survived by his nine children: Mary (William) Timmers, Kimberl y; Cynthia (Robert) Wolf, Kaukauna; Nancy (Larry) Novak, Kaukauna; Rick (C indy) Pynenberg, Freedom; James (Bev) Pynenberg, Little Chute; Thomas ( B) Alford Pynenberg, Appleton; Michael (Connie) Pynenberg, Menasha; Leona rd (Laure) Pynenberg, Kimberly and David Pynenberg, Combined Locks; grandc hildren: Thomas, Timothy and Troy Van Cuyk; John, Scott, Mark, Chad and Ji ll Pynenberg; Neal, Dale, and Patrick Pynenberg; Sam and Tony Pynenberg, A ngie Lewis; Aaron and Ryan Pynenberg; Nicole, Michelle and Curtis Wolf; Ra ndy and Matt Pynenberg; Kristin, Katie, Jessica and Ben Pynenberg; Kell y, Jonathon and Daniel Novak; great grandchildren: Kelsey Jo, Mackenzie, M acayla, Sophie, Brandon, Chase, Isaac, Emma Rose, Abby and Devon; a brothe r, Leighon Pynenberg; a sister, Rita Pynenberg; step-brother, James (Pa t) Jansen; step-sister, Dorothy Jansen Frank; sister-in-law, Blanche Pynen berg; Marie Greco, Nellie VerVoort, Harriet (Bernie) Zak, Ellen Lamers, Th eresa Lamers, Julie Lamers; brothers-in-law: Frank (Pat) Lamers, Casey (Do rothy) Lamers and Arnold Lamers; godchildren: Connie VanWychen, Joe Lamer s. Lori Meltz, Paul Lamers, Jeff Pynenberg, Lori Geurts, Ann Lamers and nu merous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preced ed in death by his son, Willard; parents, Leonard and Mayme Ludwig Pynenbe rg; sister, Lucille Pynenberg; brother, Gerald Pynenberg; step-brother, Ha rold and Bernedett Jansen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Theresa Lam ers, Herman Lamers, Harry Lamers, John Lamers, Antonio Greco, Joe VerVoo rt and Lynda Pynenberg and step-brother-in-law, Melborne Frank.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2003 at St. Pa ul Church with Reverend Robert Vandenberg officiating. Interment wi ll be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Military rites will be conduct ed by Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, Little Chute. Friends may ca ll at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the mass. A memorial has be en established.
