  Family History Researcher	From Judith 1854? Immigrated to the US. Griemerath, Trier Peter Blindauer was born about 31 August 1826 in Greimerath to Michael Bli ndauer and Margaretha Zimmer. He was the only one of his family that I kn ow of that went to USA. He did not marry until 3 years after arriving abo ut 1854 and the first census I found him in listed him as a blacksmith.I found the Blindauer family in the Trier book and my g-aunt recalls him w riting to his sisters in Germany. No letters ever found, though.
