- Alice Van Dyke Services Friday Alice Cecilia Van Dyke, 75, Rt 2 (Verboort) Forest Grove, died Tuesd ay at Klamath Falls en route to visit at the home of a daughter in Tulelake, California. She was born at Verboort on Mar ch 7, 1884, the daughter of Peter and Antonia Vandehey Evers, and had spent her entire life in Washington County. H er husband, William August Van Dyke, preceded her in death on March 15, 1942 here in Forest Grove. They were marri ed at Verboort on May 5, 1908. Requiem high mass will be offered by Very Rev. William R. Killi on at Visitation Catholic Church at Verboort on Friday at 10 a.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday eveni ng at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Prickett's mortuary of Forest Grove and will be said by Very Rev. William R. Killion, pastor of Visita tion Catholic Church. Interment will be next to her husband in Visitation Catholic cemetery at Verboort. Survivors include her five sons: Ervin Van Dyke, Cyril Van Dyke a nd Stanley Van Dyke of Forest Grove; Julius Van Dyke, Carlton; and Robert Van Dyke of Yamhill; three daughters: Mr s. Irene Moore, Roy; Mrs. Evelyn Herb, Forest Grove; and Mrs. Esther Seus, Tulelake, California; three brother s: Albert and Antone Evers, Forest Grove and William Evers, McMinnville; one sister: Mrs. Anna Krieger, Forest Grov e. Also thirty one grandchildren survive. Mrs. Van Dyke was a member of Visitation Catholic Church, the Visi tation altar society and the Ladies' Order of Foresters. Serving as casket bearers will be Francis Krieger, Ignatius and Fra ncis Evers, Harold and Joseph Van Dyke and Leslie Verboort. Honorary casket bearers, all members of the Catholic Ord er of Foresters, will be Mrs. Steven Kemper, Mrs. Louis Spiering, Mrs. James Moore, Mrs. Victor Herinckx, Mrs. Rod Vanderzande n, and Mrs. Martin Vanderzanden."
