  Family History Researcher	possible?; Jay, Gerhard Naumann is my great great grandfather, on my great grand mothers side. I have found the same individual as you have in the FamilySearch.org data base (Salt Lake City)along with the woman he married, Anna Maria Kuhn. I also found a Gehard Naumann that immigrated to the US in 1845 landing at he the port in New Orleans with a wife and 3 children, no names given. Gerhard and Anna Maria had a child after they came to the US in 1846 named Susanna, born in Wilmette, Illinois. She married my great grandfather Jacob Kaiser. I have found no census information about the Naumanns other than a Jerry Newman was living with Jacob Kaiser and Susanna in 1870 (here father). Gerhard died in Wilmette on 1/01/1871. I am trying to link the Gerhard Naumann of Ruwer to the New Orleans Naumann and the Illinois Naumann. Do you have any futher information on the Naumanns that will link them or suggestions where to look? Thank you for any help you can provide. Mike Kaiser
