- Frances M. Wolfgram, age 98, of Appleton, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 15, 2013. Frances was born in Freedom on December 21, 1914, daughter of the late William and Lena (Green) Conrad. The family moved to Kaukauna where she was raised. Frances was united in marriage to Dean Ozburn of Kaukauna on September 18th, 1934. Dean preceded her in death on February 22nd, 1974. She was united in marriage to Harvey Wolfgram of Appleton on April 6th, 1979. Harvey preceded her in death on February 8th, 1998. Frances was employed at Kaukauna Community Hospital in the dietary area for over 20 years. She was a member at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Germaine Nagan, Combined Locks; son Paul (Beverly) Ozburn, Egg Harbor; six grandchildren: Deborah (LeRoy) Menting, Combined Locks, Joseph (Li) Driessen, Seymour, Patty (Mark) Baerenwald, Combined Locks, Lee (Amy) Nagan, Evanston, IL, Nancy Vanderloop, Appleton, and Derek Ozburn, Egg Harbor; 11 great-grandchildren: Bradley Menting, De Pere, Teresa (Mark) Zimmerman, Kaukauna, Ashley (Matt) Hale, Green Bay, David Baerenwald, Kaukauna, Michael (Lana) Baerenwald, Menasha, Jeffery Baerenwald, Appleton, Megan Baerenwald, Appleton, Brian Vanderloop, Kaukauna, Traci Vanderloop, Waukesha, Kevin Vanderloop, Appleton, and Simone Nagan, Evanston, IL; 9 great-great-grandchildren; 4 step-children: Sr. Camilla Wolfgram, Manitowoc, Jean (Owen) VandenHeuvel, Gillett, Diane (Gerald) Gulseth, Santa Fe, NM, and Mark (Ann) Wolfgram, Madison; 7 step-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; 2 step great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Margaret Van Himbergen, Kimberly. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 8 brothers, 4 sisters, and 2 sons-in-laws: James Driessen and Carl Nagan.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday, February 18, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 McDonald St., Appleton, with Father Gerald Falk officiating. Friends may visit directly at the church on Monday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for the American Cancer Society , American Heart Association , and the American Alzheimer's Association .
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at ThedaCare at Home Hospice, and the staff and residents at The Heritage in Appleton for all their kindness, care, and concern.
