  Family History Researcher	Email Michael Hoffmann b. about 1811 in Bavaria, Germany and Mary Martin b. abo ut 1818 in Bavaria, Germany. This same researcher also told me that Michael/Mary's son Balthasar marri ed Magdalena ("Lena") Juengling/Yingling. As you likely know, Magdalena w as Eva Juengling/Yingling's sister. She sent me a photograph of the twi ns (Simon and Balthasar) and a second photograph of Balthasar and Magdale na in later years. I'll see whether I can attach them to this emai l. .. I tried several times but am not having any success attaching t he photographs. I can snail mail them if you'd like. Just let me know. I'm related to the Juengling/Yingling family, too. Eva was my great grand mother on my father's paternal side. Who were Frank's parents, in your li neage?

  Following information given to me by another Hoffmann/Salchert/Juengling r esearcher:" I have copy of application for citizenship for Michael stating he was bo rn 1811 and that he immigratedd to US and landed at port of New York in Ju ne of 1852. He is renouncing allegiance and fidelity to King of Bareu. S worn to and subscribed the 3 day of December 1862."
