- 1912 the Kaukauna Sun dated 10/31/1912 Dr. Cox copens office - Dr. John Au stin Cox, a graduate of the Medical Department of Marquette University, h as opened offices over Hilgenberg's barbershop on Wisconsin avenu e. He is a son of Thomas Cox who lives 3 mi. west of Holland town. Dr. C ox graduated from Oshkosh normal School in 1907 and then was princip al of schools at Merton for one year when he entered Marquette graduati ng last June. He also passed the state medical examination. He served in ternships in St. Agnes Hospital at Fond du Lac and in Trinity Hospit al in Milwaukee. He is a nephew of Ed Cox.
