- Kozlowski,Theresa E.; Appleton Formerly of Menasha, age 85, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2003. She w as born February 10, 1918 in Brown's Valley, South Dakota, the daught er of th late George and Nellie (Vissers) Geurts. Theresa married Norbe rt Kozlowski on May 25, 1940 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mena sha. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1972. She was a member of Sacr ed Heart Catholic Church, a volunteer for church, their thrift store and T heda Clark. She often donated blood and her time to the Red Cross.Her survivors include her six children: Norbert (Laura) Kozlowski, Freedo m; Michael (Joyce) Kozlowski, California; Gregory (Mary) Kozlowski, Washin gton; Terri (Mike) Rossey, Appleton; Marita (Tom) List, Missouri; David (G erry) Kozlowski, Appleton; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildre n. Theresa is further survived by her brothers: Mark (Mary)Geurts, Neena h; George (Mary Ann) Geurts, Menasha; her sisters: Marie Buzanowski, Menas ha; Eileen Foth, Menasha; Ursula (Fred) Rutten, New London; a sister-in-la w, Berniece Geurts, Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her grandson, K eith; a brother, Florent; a sister, Honoret (Dave) Brethauser and two brot hers-in-law: Joe Buzanowski and Wilbur Foth.A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 10, 2003 11 a.m. at Sacred Hea rt Catholic Church, Appleton. Family and friends will be received on Thurs day evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. when a prayer service will be held at La emmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street and again on Friday at the chur ch from 10 a.m. until the hour of mass. Food will be available during visi tation hours at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John Cemeter y, Menasha.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the Cherry Meado ws Hospice Program.
